8-1/8x8.25x3/8” deep box contains set of five 9 x9” cloth hankies, with 4 different designs/colors. ©King Features Syndicate, Inc. c. 1930s. Hanky designs feature Popeye, Swee’pea, Olive Oyl with western theme, love theme (Popeye & Olive) with 2 hankies being Popeye specific. Scattered aging with a few spots of soiling. VF overall. Box lid pictures Popeye, Olive Oyl, Swee’pea and Wimpy. Popeye, Swee’pea and Wimpy each hold a Popeye hanky. Box shows lt. wear at edges and is Exc.
