Box has lt. corner tip wear and some creasing along edges but retains its shape and is VF/Exc. Box contains 8.5” long (not counting attached wire and remote control) car by Line Mar. ©1949 F.A. Syndicate, but toy was made in 1950s. Painted tin car with tin litho shield-shaped emblems on each side with Tracy profile and “Dick Tracy” name and copyright information. Tin litho figure of policeman inside car. Chevy hubcaps. Plastic-covered cord is attached from back of car to steering box that holds batteries. Light and reverse functions are the only functions that work. Steering mechanism only steers to the right. Car shows lt. traces of wear but displays Exc. A variety of differently designed and different sized Dick Tracy police cars were produced.
