Item Description
11x14” lobby card for 1929 MGM film which was Crawford’s first “talkie” with a rather soap opera-ish plot involving her being the daughter of an oil man and raised in South America, later being sent to New York to be “civilized” falling for a poor man whom she shoots. In addition to nice full color photo image of Crawford used as card border, card has great scene of Crawford hugging her co-star Ernest Torrence. Scattered aging/dust soiling along margins. VG/Fine. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake’s COA.
