Item Description
4.25x6.5” cabinet card. Girls are posed with signs on fabric-covered poles reading “Democrat Silver Bill Repealed” and “Republican Good Times Coming.” One wears a dress with stars and moons as if portraying a witch or wizard. The other 2 girls are wearing dresses made of the same material that is wrapped around both of the poles which hold the political signs. With election day being the week after Halloween, it would stand to reason the girls are making a political statement as well as celebrating the Halloween holiday. Both the front and back of the card is marked “F. Schade/Florence, Mass.” Corner bump at lower left not affecting image area. Interesting. VF.
