Item Description
23x33” poster for beleaguered director Roman Polanski’s 1962 film. This was Polanski’s first film and features only 3 characters and deals with rivalry and sexual tension. Film starred Leon Niemczyk, Jolanta Yumecka, Zygmunt Malanowicz. Film poster is in Polish and features striking design of 3 anthropomorphic fish, one smoking pipe. Poster has been folded as originally issued, though if framed these fold lines would not be that noticeable. Scattered handling wear with pinholes at corners and .25” corner off bottom left. Poster is fragile in nature. Fine.
