Lot of nine 3x5” unlined index cards with the signatures of the following Munchkin stars of the classic 1939 MGM film – Tiny Doll, Margaret Pellegrini, Ruth Robinson Duccini, Fern Formica, Little Jeane La Barbera, Tommy Cottonaro, Betty Anne Kain Bruno, Jerry Marren and Harry Monty. Doll has signed “Best Wishes” and added Aug. 3, 1990 date, Pellegrini has added “Munchkin Of Oz,” Duccini has added “Best Wishes From Ruth Robinson Duccini,” Formica has added “Munchkin Love To ‘Chuck And Family’,” La Barbera has added “Bless You” and her performer name “Little Jeane,” Bruno has added “Munchkin” and Marren has added “Lollipop Munchkin.” Marren is perhaps the best known individual Munchkin as he was a member of the “Lollipop Guild” and was the Munchkin to hand Dorothy a large lollipop at the end of the “We Represent The Lollipop Guild” song. Betty Anne Kain Bruno was the only non-midget performer, being a small child at the time. Of the included autographs, Doll, Formica, La Barbera, Cottonaro and Monty have since passed away. First two letters of “Wishes” on Tiny Doll’s card have st. bleeding from moisture but card remains legible and signature is unaffected. Exc. overall. Comes with great 11x14” over-sized bw photo showing Dorothy and the Good Witch of the North in Munchkin city surrounded by Munchkins.
