Item Description
7x16x1.75” deep box with nice photo of Roy at upper left entitled “King Of The Cowboys” text. Box has die-cut insert holding 9” long white metal gun with gold luster finish having “Roy Rogers” name on each side and ivory plastic horse head grips. Also contains pair of 5” metal spurs painted with reflective gold paint. Spurs come with a pair of 8.25” long leather straps with ruby-like plastic stone in center. Made in Canada by M.A. Henry Ltd. c. early 1950s. Box lid has moderate color rubs and .75x1.25” piece of tape in upper left of main panel above Roy’s image. Box remains free of splits and remains tight. Fine overall. Gun had hammer tip broken off (comes with original loose broken hammer) but gun has since had an expert replacement hammer from gun parts maker with a slightly different gold tone. .25” minor hairline only visible if turned over on underside of grip but gun retains Mint luster. Old store stock set. Displays Mint. Rare.
