Item Description
Two 9.75” dia. records made by Sav-Way Industries c. 1946-1947. Records have images and music tracks imprinted on clear vinyl making for nice presentation. First is #R712, “Aren’t You Glad You’re You” with image of woman waking to songbird, smelling flower and eating pie. Reverse features “Atlanta G.A.” with image of “Atlanta Limited” train steaming towards Georgia and image of woman with flowers. Both songs by Shep Fields And His Orchestra with bw photo image of Fields by title. Second disc is #R774, “Save Me A Dream” and features image of sleeping woman. Reverse is “Desert Fantasy (Scheherazade)” and features image of Sheik grabbing harem girl against nighttime desert scene. Both songs by Sonny Dunham and his orchestra with small bw photo image of Dunham by titles. 10” dia. 78-rpm format. Typical lt. surface wear with first disc having a few tiny outer rim nicks, not affecting grooves. Fine/VF overall. First disc is a very popular release in this series.
