Item Description
7” long, 3-7/8” tall goat and cart by Kenton Toys. Goat is nickel-plated cast iron and pulls free-wheeling tin cart. c. 1900. Separate 4” tall cast iron figural Yellow Kid (in red nightshirt) fits into notch provided in cart. In addition to red nightshirt, Kid’s head was painted black, though most of this paint is gone. Underneath is dark color of the casting as made. About 50% of nightshirt paint remains. Cart has moderate paint wear to rims of wheels. VF overall. Comes with 1989 Christie’s tag.
