17x18.5” original tri-fold, die-cut stiff cardboard backing board with separate 5.5x15.75” die-cut stiff cardboard header card has “Batman” comic book title logo with “Batman Wallets” text and batsymbol image where price was meant to be marked. This header remains unused with die-cut being unpunched. Small black marker factory strike at bottom left to obscure incorrect licensing text. Exc. This complete display contains twelve 3.25x4.25” vinyl snap closure “Batman” wallets, each with same Carmine Infantino artwork. Wallets by Standard Plastic Products, Inc., a subsidiary of Mattel, Inc. ©1966 National Periodical Publications, Inc. Each wallet has nice full body image of Robin on reverse. Each is complete with picture holder, Mystic Slate and wooden stylus, change counter and included 2.25x3.5” bw card featuring images of “Batman With Robin The Boy Wonder” or Batman’s villain The Penguin. Nine Batman and Robin, 3 Penguin. These are the boys version of the Batman wallets, a girls version was also produced in a more rectangular design. Wallets show lightest traces of wear, a few with cards showing wear at top. Exc.-N. Mint overall. Back of display has a few tape stains from original shipping closure tape. VF/Exc.
