Item Description
Two 6x9” blister cards contain approximately 4-4.25” tall soft rubber figures by Fun Things, Inc. ©1966 National Periodical Publications, Inc. Each rubber figure has removable rubber cape and attached string with plastic loop for hanging around neck, doorknob, etc. Batman is on orange card with “Batman” comic book title logo graphics at top. Robin is on blue card with similar but larger design showing Batman image with “Robin – Batman’s Own Boy Wonder” title. These dangler-type toys usually ended up on rear view mirrors and jiggled about given their extremely pliable nature. Fairly detailed likenesses. Only Batman and Robin were produced in this format by this company. Upper right corner has price that was meant to be detached along perforated line, both price corners are intact. Both cards are unpunched. Lt. edge/corner tip wear and st. warp to cards but blisters remain firmly affixed. .5” crack on Batman’s blister at his hand. Cards are VF-Exc. with contents Mint as packaged. Robin is scarcer than Batman. From the Craig Warren Collection.
