Mar., 1933 issue of “Judge” magazine has “Technocracy Number Of Judge” cover with detailed mechanical/equation cover by Dr. Suess, whose facsimile pen name signature is in lower right corner. Inside magazine there is single full page bw cartoon by Dr. Seuss with harem scene and text “It Says Here, Most Exulted One, That Under Technocracy One Man Shall Do The Work Of Many.” Issue has some lt. handling wear to spine with one page loose but included. Fine+. May, 1934 issue of “LIFE” magazine features great Seuss jungle cover showing mother gorilla with young and exaggerated Seuss bird proclaiming “I Know, My Dear, But That’s Nothing Compared To Having An Egg!” Quarter-page bw cartoon showing 4 men untangling yarn with caption “The Tangled Yarn Problem…As Pictured By Dr. Seuss. These Members Of The Engineers’ Club Lost Their Lives In An Attempt To Unsnarl 200 Yards Of Fishing Line. This Practice Is Now Prohibited By The Anti-Untangle Legislation Of 1928.” Title page clipped but pertinent publishing information remains. Handling wear with subscription mailing crease at upper half of magazine. VG/Fine. Both publications have many cartoons throughout including Milt Gross, Edwina and others. Early and historic Dr. Seuss content.
