Item Description
12x23x6.5” deep boxed set contains set No. 4269 by Ideal. c. 1950s set contains matching pair of 6x9x5.75” deep molded plastic “Roy Rogers” crank-and-ring style telephones. 4” long plastic receivers. Original length of wire included. This set was to operate with the addition of 4 "D" size batteries - 2 in each phone. We have not tested the set however both battery compartments are clean and the orginal wires are connected between the phones so most likely they would operate as intended. Receivers show moderate wear where they clip into cradles on side of phone box. Metal bells on each phone have some scattered pitting with faint traces of oxidation. VF/Exc. Box, with die-cut lid showing Roy and Dale Evans on phones has heavy dust soiling and moisture staining with 2” tear to lid hinge. Nicely crafted replacement cardboard insert. Good.
