10.5x13.75” complete Mar., 11, 1966 issue. Cover features classic leaping, smiling Batman amidst batsignal images. Cover boasts an extremely impressive gathering of signatures of stars/guest stars from the classic 1966 TV show. Signed by 17, signatures/inscriptions including: Adam West “Batman,” Burt Ward “Robin,” Burgess Meredith who adds “Good Luck!,” Cesar Romero who adds character name “The Joker,” Vincent Price, John Astin, Frank Gorshin who adds “Riddler?,” Julie Newmar, Ertha Kitt, Lee Meriwether who adds “Meow!” and smiley cat face, Art Carney, Eli Wallick ”Mr. Freeze,” Van Johnson who adds smiley face, Alan Napier, David Wayne, Milton Berle and Roddy McDowall. West, Romero, Astin, Meriwether, Newmar, Wallick, Carney, Price and Napier have all signed in black felt tip pen. Meredith and Berle have signed in purple felt tip pen, Ward and Kitt have signed in 2 different shades of blue felt tip pen. Johnson and McDowall have signed in 2 different shades of red felt tip pen. Astin and Wayne have signed in green felt tip pen. In addition to signatures, magazine has 6-page spread with color photos detailing the rise in popularity of Batman, Superman and MAD Magazine. Magazine has lt. handling wear with pinch creases to spine and some minor surface paper lifts from mailing label removal. Dust soiling along upper right margin slightly smudging Van Johnson’s signature. Signatures o/w remain distinct and bold. Exc. overall. This is the largest group of Batman-related signatures on a single item we have offered in our auctions. In Auction #196 we offered a similar signed copy of this magazine with 14 signatures and it sold for $1,265. Comes with Hake’s COA.
