Item Description
8.25x10.25x7" deep tin litho container from the 1930s for Disch Ltd., a candy factory founded in Othmarsingen, Switzerland. Hoffmann in Thun made the tin for the factory. All of these names appear on the back panel of the tin along w/"Par Aut. De Walt Disney Mickey-Mouse" text. Hinged lid features image of Mickey Mouse standing next to Minnie Mouse who looks in a mirror and brushes her hair as Pluto sits between them. A second frightened and smaller Mickey tugs on the larger Mickey's tail. Front and back panels are of Mickey and Minnie fleeing from a lion who charges after them. The right and left side panels feature Mickey next to Minnie who sits on a log. Interior remains totally clean. Outside has moderate scattered amount of small paint nicks and scratches up to about 2" long, small scattered traces of aging, a few minor indents really only visible in reflected light. Overall appearance remains totally bright and clean w/high gloss finish. Fine. Graphic and impressive tin.
