Item Description
Impressive 18.5" tall to the tips of his ears, this is the largest of three standard size dolls (also produced in 8.5" and 13.5" sizes). c. 1930. Velveteen-covered stuffed body w/felt ears, oilcloth eyes, separate string whiskers and four plastic buttons on pants. Complete w/long rubber tail. Face and hands have moderately aged. Color remains strong including red pants, does not exhibit the fading typically found on these dolls. One eye has .25" scratch, back of one hand has .5" split resewn, has .5" split under one arm neatly resewn. Opposite underarm has minor .25" fabric split at seam. Back of head has .25" split. All of these defects are exceedingly minor, mentioned only for complete accuracy and do not detract from overall appearance which remains one of the overall best we've ever offered in our 41 years.
