Item Description
1930s set number "1847" by Rogers Bros., a Product of the International Silver Co. (famous for their silverplate Disney items such as boxed utensil sets, cups, baby plates, etc. See item #1846). 5x8x2.5" deep gray cardboard box has company labels on two end panels noting set number and name "Mickey Mouse With The Baby Spoon And Fork." The plain box bottom has age spotting, lid shows just lt. scattered aging but remains tight and labels are clean. VF. The main item of this set is 7" tall wood figure of Mickey w/"lollipop" hands, rubber-covered fabric ears and fabric-covered wire tail. Chest has complete name decal. Attached at waist is fabric apron w/ribbon strip designed to hold the pair of 4" long utensils in place. Fork and spoon are the "Ancestral" pattern as indicated on the box label. Tiniest traces of wear but overall Exc./N. Mint and essentially unused old store stock. A truly exceptional item of Disneyana, the only boxed example we've offered in 41 years.
