Item Description
10.25x15x1.25" deep box contains Whitman game No. 2916.  ©1938 Walt Disney Enterprises.  Directions on underside of lid explain that 24 (1 missing) black marbles represent picadors and 2 yellow marbles represent bulls, Ferdinand and his mother.  Die-cut insert/gameboard, 33 die-cut holes inside printed arena with image of Ferdinand sniffing flower, 2 picadors on horseback and Walt Disney-inspired matador.  Gameboard has slight warp with creasing at side and is lightly aged but still displays Exc.  Box bottom has 3 splits, box lid has split and 1.25" side panel split with remnants of tape repair.  Box lid is slightly concave with creases and edge wear.  Fine-.  From the Tomart Archives.
