Item Description
13" long painted cast metal by ACT Inc. Detroit, MI, 1950s. Box has edge wear and creases, .5" tear on one side, one flap has inside tape repair. Fine. Toy was to function by attaching propeller to supplied large rubberband which fits into slot under the toy. Removable fins were to be placed in various positions to make toy dive or go in circles. Propeller and extra rubberband are still in their original sealed bag/envelope. Aside from a little wear at the bow of the sub, around the nose of the graphic shark decals. Toy and all parts are Exc./N. Mint as produced. An interesting and unusual toy that probably had a very limited production.
