9.5x11.75" English book by Wm. Collins Sons & Co. Ltd. ©1938. 64 pages including end papers. The highlight of this book is a set of 12 choice full color plates tipped in throughout the book each with a tissue guard which is a parchment-like paper sheet that lays over top and includes that particular character's name printed at bottom. These plates are for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the Queen, the Witch, the Prince, cottage scene with forest animals. Additionally, the book features bw art which were the working drawings and notes that served as the basis for the future efforts that lead to the film. The cloth-bound book has trace of aging to the cover mostly along spine. Cover is still VF. Trace of aging to the end papers, first blank page has an added book plate. O/w contents are Exc. and the color plates are N. Mint. Comes with a photocopy of the original dust jacket. One of the nicest Disney books ever produced and this is only the third copy we've been able to offer in our 41 years. From the Joel Cohen Collection (J - $700 to $1000)
