Item Description
Set of 36, each is 13/16" colorful litho tin pin-back. These were issued one per cereal box in 1943 and were created for Kellogg's by the legendary "Premium King" Sam Gold. The inks used were very susceptible to chipping and the gloss finish was almost a magnet for dust so most examples today are just Good to VG. This set has been assembled and upgraded over decades. Ten of thirty-six are at least Fine but have small evidences of paint wear. The other 26 are superior examples grading Exc. to Mint. A difficult set to assemble at this level of quality.
