Item Description
Set of seven 5.25x9x1.25" deep thin cardboard cartons with 9x9.5" backs containing perforated pieces consisting of figures, vehicles and games. Issued by mid-west based hamburger chain Burger Chef restaurants and Coca-Cola, with cartons being used as food trays. ©1978 20th Century-Fox Film Corp. Punch-outs include: "R2-D2 Droid puppet, C-3PO Droid Puppet, Land Speeder, X-Wing Fighter, Tie Fighter, Flight Game and Darth Vader card game." All pieces remain unpunched, though "Darth Vader Card Game" carton has some loose perforations on the food storage areas. Light wear. Exc/N. Mint overall. The success of this promotion prompted McDonald's to develop their Happy Meal. From the Tomart Archives, comes with COA signed by Tom Tumbusch and Ted Hake.
