Auction 192 - Part II Item numbers 1053 though 2638 in auction 192. |
8.5x11.25" blister card contains 4.5" tall posable figure by Playmates ©1990 The Walt Disney Company. Figure comes with gun, briefcase and has removable mask. The reason this figure is so rare is as follows: The Blank was sold exclusively in Canada and was initially withheld because the mask (attached to hat) is removable revealing Madonna and the surprise ending of the film. By the time the figure was cleared, sales of Dick Tracy merchandise had died off. Figure would never have been released except for a Sears Canada contract which had to be fulfilled up to Christmas, 1990. Card is unpunched. Bottom left-hand corner has creasing. Displays Exc. Mint contents. From the Tomart Archives and comes with a COA signed by Tom Tumbusch and Ted Hake. (H - $200 to $400)
