Item Description
6.5" long by 5.5" tall tin litho with litho figures of Buffalo Bob 7" tall and Howdy Doody 8" tall. 1950s. Box has moderate wear with scattered creases and clear tape repairs to small tears both inside and out. Still displays Fine. Interior flaps have illustrations for assembling toy and there is a cut-out picture of Howdy on one side of box. Toy works and Buffalo Bob's arms move as he rocks back and forth as Howdy dances. Underside of piano stamped "Copyright Bob Smith." Piano has great graphics including Flub-A-Dub on front, Clarabell and "Howdy The Kids President" pictured on sides. Back panel shows the Peanut Gallery pointing down at other toys made by Unique including "Unique Artie, Kiddie Cyclist, Bombo, Lincoln Tunnel," etc. A few scratched paint nicks, two on Howdy's face, typical light scratching on his pants. Some minor paint wear to Buffalo Bob's arms and rim of his hat. Still, piano is Exc. and figures are VF. A nice example of this classic 1950s toy.
