Item Description
Lot of two. Salesmens samples. First is 9x11". Comes with 3.75x3.75" fabric patch sewn onto it with illustration and name "Roy Rogers." Tiny patch defects at left center margin, above Trigger's tail and lower right corner, o/w patch remains strong. A 4x5" cardboard patch is stapled above the first patch. Text includes "Saddle Blanket/Genuine Roy Rogers King Of The Cowboys/Copyright 1956 By Roy Rogers - Frontiers, Inc." Tag goes on to give product size, contents, price. Attached to this tag is a 3.75x4.25" "Roy Rogers Pledge To Parents" tag. Both cardboard tags have handling creases. Pinned to the lower left corner of the blanket is a 1.5" litho button reading "King Of The Cowboys/Roy Rogers." Light edge scuffs. Lot also includes another sample blanket. 9.5x14". Has similar 4x5" cardboard tag attached promoting "Saddle Blanket" but no Roy Rogers connection. Light surface dust to both. Overall both Fine. First we've seen.
