Item Description
Large 3.5" pinback w/inscription below "Sincerely Yours-Mickey Mouse." These were worn by store clerks, typically in the toy department of a larger department store in the mid-1930s. Reverse curl is inscribed "By Special Permission Walt Disney Enterprises/Kay Kamen, Inc." Two problems: bottom edge has 1/16x3/16" missing spot of cello and paper so tiny area of metal backing shows. Also upper left quadrant has heavy scuff lines on cello surface over 1x1.5" rectangular area that includes lower ear and lower face plus his right arm. However, vast marjority of the marks show only in reflected light and do not appear when viewed straight on. Only exception are a couple 1/8" lines at far right. While just VG, button retains color intensity and gloss. About our fifth in 40 years. Rare.
