Item Description
6.5x8.5x2" deep. c. early 1930s. Superb scene is titled "Hunting The Moose." Depicts Mickey holding rifle standing next to Pluto and both are looking down at moose tracks not realizing that just behind them is a large moose watching them. Includes "Walter E. Disney" name at bottom of the scene. On front side edge is text "Baby's Plate." Underside has company mark although a bit blurred as originally stamped. Scattered moderate paint wear to the accent designs on top rim. Front side edge has a couple of small spots where the glaze did not adhere properly but this is minor. The inner surface has scattered wear including some hairline scratches but nearly all of this is only visible in reflected light. The scene has some tiny traces of color loss but nothing at all serious. Overall appearance remains totally bright and glossy. Fine/VF. All Paragon china is highly sought after and this particular piece which is the first we've seen is among the nicest.
