Item Description
Toy has total height of 10", the Mickey figure itself is 4.5" tall. Japan, 1930s. Distributed by Geo. Borgfeldt Corp. Box lid features an image of the toy on top, Mickey portraits appear on all side panels. Box shows aging/wear with 2.5" split to top of lid at lower right, lower center has 1.5" strip of clear tape. Also, the bottom end panel is missing a 1x1.5" piece partially removing Mickey's face and this area has been reinforced on interior with cardboard. Top side panel has a 1" puncture. Box o/w remains tight. Still displays VG. The toy is mostly celluloid with pair of metal bells attached to one of Mickey's shoes, wood base. Works and has built-in key. Mickey spins ringing the bells, parasol also twirls and is designed with accent strands that have die-cut flower attachments. Mickey has minor indent on back of one ear. Trace of gold paint wear to buttons on his pants. Minor defects and toy remains in Exc. condition.
