Item Description
3.75x6.25x7/8” deep box contains 1.25” dia. chromed metal case, complete with original blue band. Dial features full figure image of Captain Marvel holding fighter jet. ©1948 Fawcett. Original foil tag around upper strap reads “Captain Marvel $5.95.” Insert has some wear around slots for watch and a light fade to red areas. VF. Box has some light handling wear with dust soiling and a 7/8” tear along middle of left-hand side panel. Fine. Case retains bright luster. Dial remains totally bright and clean. Luminous material on hands has aged but numbers still glow. While stem turns, watch is not running but still displays Mint.
