Hal Foster’s cover art for this book is the only work he ever did expressly for a comic book. The book contains color reprints of newspaper strips on pgs 1-28 and 30-63. This is also the first issue where the title moves to 68 pgs per issue. The book grades VF-. The following defects keep the book from grading higher: the cover, while still very glossy and highly reflective, does have some light wear around the edges, the bottom staple has a small tear on each side. The pages are off-white.
