Item Description
8.5x10.75" typed letter dated October 15, 1957. Sent to same recipient as cards in next lot #2216. Letter from Cochran thanks fan for birthday card and mentions upcoming "Biggest Show Of Stars For '57" tour. Also mentions new record "Twenty Flight Rock/Cradle Baby" which was due to be released during said tour. Cochran has signed in black ink. Letter has been folded twice for mailing and has handling wear along top edge margin with 1/8" tear. Letter has aged to an off-white/cream color and could be framed for an Exc. appearance. Comes with envelope with "Eddie Cochran - Liberty Records" return address postmarked in Los Angeles, November 7, 1957. Usual and typical wear from mailing. Comes with Hake's COA.
