Item Description
7x16x2” deep box. 1950s. Manufactured by Leslie Henry. Image of Roy on top and side panels. Text reads “King Of Cowboys/Roy Rogers Forty-Niner Pistol And Stirrups/50 Shot Repeater Pistol Shoots And Puffs Smoke.” Box with very light wear. Remains bright, tight and clean. VF. 9” long gun is gold/black variation (see item #1918). Roy’s name appears below cylinder. Black plastic horse head grips. The striker plate is designed with holes to allow smoke to curl from the barrel when fired. Never fired. Gold luster remains bright. Also included is pair of spurs with spinning ‘stars.’ Also leather straps with Roy’s name in red and each has 2” dia. silver luster accents with gold luster embossed steerhead on center of accent. Straps are adjustable. Box insert is slightly concave from weight of gun. All remains unused and N. Mint as issued. A superb and Rare set.
