Item Description
7x8.25” mask. c. 1950. Once pliable rubber has hardened with age. Right ear folded over. Remains attached. Elastic string on back has original 1.75” tall one-sided cardboard tag with text “Howdy Doody/Copyright Bob Smith.” Tag VF. Mask with few tiny cracks at top, but still remains structurally sound and very bright and clean appearance for display. Still a VF appearance. Bottom back of mask has signature reading “Howdy Doody & Buffalo Bob Smith.” Bold, blue marking pen. Comes with 4 photos of Bob signing this mask at a show appearance. Comes with Hake’s COA.
