Item Description
1938. First is 7.5x9.75” mailing envelope with Orphan Annie return address in Chicago. Light wear. VF. Envelope holds three punch-out sheets with 2 characters on each sheet including: Sandy, Annie, Warbucks, Joe Corntassel, Mr. Silo, Mrs. Silo. All are unpunched, but several loose perforations. Lightly tanned with age but Exc./NM. Last is fold-out sheet with Orphan Annie image on front and text “Here’s Your Special Prize Gift – And Also The Five Thousand Roller Skate Winners In My Island Naming Contest!” Exc.
