Lot of 33. Each 1.25” celluloid. Each button with image and character name above a serial number with newspaper name at bottom. 17 are from New York Evening Journal. 16 New York Sunday American. All but two have backpapers explaining “Wear This Button. Watch For Lucky Numbers On Comic Pages Of (newspaper name) For Valuable Prizes.” Characters include: Popeye, Ignatz Mouse, Krazy Kat, Katzenjammer Kids, Jiggs, Barney Google, Skippy, Buttercup, Happy Hooligan, etc. “Dora” is moderately foxed. All show scattered general wear/aging. Overall buttons are Fine.
