Item Description
7” tall. c. 1930s. Celluloid figure of Betty mounted on a 2.5” dia. painted tin base. Separate head is mounted to a nodding mechanism which has an attached counter-weight. Underside of base has winder mechanism. Works. Back of head marked “Made In Japan.” Back of leg has heart-shaped label reading “Betty Boop/Des. & Copyright By Fleischer Studios.” Moderate scattered small paint flakes off tin base. Base Fine. Figure shows slightest aging. Exc. Comes with original box. Box Fine with colorful VF/Exc. label.
