Item Description
Fiberglass hard hat from early 1960s. Worn by TV cameraman working in Jacksonville, Florida to commemorate the lift-off of 11 U.S. space flight missions. Earliest is "Lunar Probe Aug. '58." Included is John Glenn's manned space flight in Feb. '62/Telstar International Communication Satellite July '62 and last is May '63. Complete with adjustable headband. Light wear, not affecting applied decals. VF.
