Item Description
Lot of 16 from the collection of Carol Stover, author of "Small Dolls Of The 40s & 50s" published in 2002 by Collector Books. Stover is a collector and authority on dolls, having over 60 magazine articles and lectures on dolls and the art of doll collecting. Most of the dolls in this lot are featured in Stover's book and this lot comes with a signed copy. Sizes range from 6" to 10". Most are in original mailing boxes with original paperwork. Lot includes: Mary Hartline boxed, Miss Hawaii boxed, Little Miss Loft, Cliquot Beverage, Hi-O-My with ribbon reading "Patty" boxed, Tastee Freeze Ice Cream with ribbon, Willadean of Hawaii, Campbell's Soup 9" doll with Magic Skin rubber stuffed body. Clothing is soiled with some discoloration of rubber as is usual. Campbell's doll is Good/VG. Also included in lot is Hawaii Boy, Frigidaire boxed, Nestle Quik boxed, Gay 90s boxed, Blue Bonnet Margarine Eskimo from "Americana" series boxed, Waldorf ballerina boxed, Kellogg's baby doll boxed and Pie-O-My "Queen of Hearts" ribbon dress boxed.
