Item numbers 955 through 2671 in auction 190
Item Description
First seen 2-1/8" dia. oval made of two strands of rope designed brass joined by two brass pieces shaped like a trio of flower petals plus at the base a spring-loaded hinge that allows one side to pull open so it can be placed on wrist. Top has 1" dia. brass rope design frame holding high convex glass dome with choice color portrait on opalescent bkg. Small luster loss off lower brass bands on close inspection but very minor and image area is flawless. No maker's name. The most substantial piece of 1930s Annie jewelry we've seen. Rare.
