Item Description
This 1938 ring came with previous rare folder. Ring in silver luster has "ROA" initials on each side panel while top has high relief star design and words "Secret Society." Top cover lifts off to reveal individual member's ID number which in this case is "6232," the lowest number we've seen. Between the qualifications to become a Silver Star member, as well as the fact that this ring top comes off and is easily lost, it's understandable why this ring is so scarce. A little natural tarnish on the silver from over the years but no significant wear or damage. NM. We've seen about ten over the years and our last example exceeded $1,400.
