Item Description
This is the 1949 Peter Pan Peanut Butter premium and is called the "Electronic Television." This is an exceptional N. Mint example both in terms of luster plus the fact that the interior picture of Sky King is still light sensitive and after exposure glows with a bright dark blue allowing his image to be seen in the dark. Ring base depicts both his plane and horse and top of the ring has red plastic compartment covered with brass lid with large clear viewing lens at center. This compartment is also used to hold four cardboard photos which were originally issued on a single strip and had to be developed by the recipient. All four photos are here. All four images are clear with just light contrast on "Clipper." Two photos have a bit of gray tone from developing on right side. One of Martha has small crease line. Other characters are Jim and Penny. These photos are rarely found in any condition. A superior, complete set of ring and photos, about as nice as obtainable.
