Item Description
Early 1950s 2-1/8x3" cover has art image of TV set with bw screen showing Gene riding Champion. Contains 64 bw pages printed on front side only with bw photos of Gene getting on Champion and riding through desert with Gene swinging lasso. Book No. 2-A of two Autry titles issued in six-title series ©Flip Book Television Inc., New York, NY. Other books in series are two for Howdy Doody (see #1051) and two for Jackie Robinson. Covers lightly tanned with small gray soil on top front edge. Tiny 1/8" loss and .25" re-glued split on corners of red bottom margin paper but under side edge so doesn't show front or back. Scarce.
