This character debuted in 1949 as the first made-for-TV animated cartoon. This button dates from very close to that year. Rare as a 1-1/8" litho but this is first seen and likely first issued 1.25" cello. Microscopic name "Tap, Inc." on bottom edge. No backpaper as issued. Exc.
