Item numbers 1 though 954 and 3000 through 3054 in auction 190.
Item Description
Gorgeous shaded b/w 1.25” for Bull Moose convention held in “St. Louis, 1912.” Real photo portraits without dot pattern are accented above by fierce eagle holding ribbon in beak and standing on shields. Reverse has faintly spotted backpaper of St. Louis Button Co. and spring pin holds two 4” ribbons designating “Progressive Delegate.” Ribbons have 1/16” age dot and several .25” side edge splits. Most importantly the celluloid button is glossy, perfectly centered and totally clean. Very trivial surface wear only under magnification. Button is near mint and displays mint. An extremely rare issue with design likely used solely for this brief state convention.
