Item Description
This rare 1844 campaign item is 2-9/16”x.25” thick with heavy metal rim holding original glass covers over a pair of paper lithographs with each man’s name printed below. Listed as Sullivan HC 1844-56, variety B. Background on the Clay side has light scattered tanning while the Washington side is totally clean. Upper side edge has two tiny holes in which is inserted a thin twisted wire hanger. This is likely a replacement with the wire just a bit thinner than the original. Rare and Fine.
