Item Description
4.5x10x15" tall bronze luster white metal with slogan on front base. Center of ship's wheel holds wind-up clock with full color dial marked "©United States Electric Clock Corp. Brooklyn N.Y." on dial. As each second ticks, helmsman moves his jointed arm to make die-cut metal ship's wheel move back and forth. Issued around time of FDR's first inaugural March, 1933. Minor scattered loss of bronze luster as typical on these. Extremely clean with essentially Mint dial and clock keeps time. Complete with green felt pad under the base. Extremely fine and superior to most examples.
