Item Description
Choice color under glass in original 23x29" frame. Titled in English and Italian "All United For Liberty." Has 1917 copyright of Italian Book Company. N.Y. Noticeable stain top left corner and 9" crease or tear inward from mid-point of left edge but shows relatively little. Wilson at podium before U.S. Capitol addressing citizens and soldiers. GW and Lincoln float on clouds above building. Top shows Pershing, Col. Roosevelt and Statue of Liberty with famous slogans "All United For Liberty!" and "The World Must Be Made Safe For Democracy." Border shows 12 large portraits of allied leaders plus 4 small portraits surrounded by entwined snakes with title "World's Enemies." This lower center panel shows scenes of destruction and includes airplane and air ship with soldiers executing a woman in Red Cross uniform. Shows some age but wonderful color and graphics. VG and Rare.
