Item Description
Hake collection. 1.25" showing Earhart/Stultz/Gordon. Earhart and Gordon were co-passengers aboard airplane Friendship piloted by Stultz. She became the first woman to cross the Atlantic by air and kept records of speed and altitude. Flight was 6/17/28. In 1932, she crossed the Atlantic in solo flight. The earliest button we know of to show her and only example we've seen. No backpaper as issued. Historic and Exc.
