Auction 190 - Part I
Item numbers 1 though 954 and 3000 through 3054 in auction 190.
Item Description
1.25" full color depicts long-horned steer with three white branding symbols on his side. Also reads "Presidential Roundup Nov. 8, 1904." Complete with correct backpaper telling how to order additional buttons from a Kansas City jobber. Button was actually made by Whitehead & Hoag whose address appears in tiny text along the lower edge of the backpaper. The brand designs on the side of the steer likely relate to TR's cattle ranch in North Dakota. Choice color and NM. An outstanding example.
