10”x18.75”x1.75” deep box. This is #2503 Rapaport Bros. copyright 1934 John F. Dille Co. Content list, directions and ads for additional molds are printed on inside lid. Cast for this set include: Buck Rogers, Wilma and Killer Kane. These sample casts have been painted with some minor wear. Set has 6 of 12 pigs of lead and is missing casting book, handle and brush. One of two mold pieces has metal fatigue hairlines measuring 1”and 2.5”, but remains solid and intact. Set is overall FN/VF. Box lid depicts same comic strip art as item #2001. Lid has one corner split with some wrinkling to surface paper and wear at corners as well as a 1.25” area of color rub to top panel. .25” tear due to piece pushing through and a 2” crack to surface paper. Tray has a small 1/8” hole punched through due to piece wear. Box retains a FN appearance. (K - $1000 to $2000)
